Fusion and Thunder Eggs in Grow a Chicken Fighter

If your goal is Thunder Eggs, first select a chicken in Flock and read its “IT CAN DROP” tooltip. Keep a chicken only when the current card explicitly shows THUNDER EGG 100% rather than assuming its species guarantees the result. A recent recording showed a Tsunami Hen and a Founder Rooster with a 100% Thunder Egg display. Fusion was also shown, but the recording did not establish that combining any particular pair guarantees that egg rate on the result.

Verification policy

Verified August 9, 2026. The experience was live and recently updated, but balance, timers, costs, and chicken rolls can change after this check.

Verify the layer before opening fusion

Open Flock, select the chicken, and read both its egg timer and the drop lines. In the reviewed video, a Founder Rooster named LANCIAWW displayed “LAYS AN EGG EVERY 4m25s” and “THUNDER EGG 100%.” A Tsunami Hen displayed an example 3m25s timer with Thunder Egg 100%. Those values prove what those two cards showed in that session; they do not prove fixed timers or rates for every chicken with those names.

The same recording showed a Commando Rooster with an example 3m38s timer and a mixed display of Ordnance Egg 70% and Thunder Egg 30%. It also showed a Fertility gene statement indicating faster laying on examples. This demonstrates why the tooltip matters: two chickens can contribute very different waiting times and drop chances. Preserve the verified 100% layer if Thunder Eggs are the immediate task.

What the fusion interface actually does

From Flock, select the first chicken and choose FUSE, then select the second parent. The reviewed current interface presented the two selected chickens, a confirmation cost, appearance tabs labeled COLOR, HAT, MASK, and FEET, and panels for inherited special abilities. The example paired a Commando Rooster with a Tsunami Hen and showed TURRET and WAVE BREAK as the two parent abilities.

The interface explained that locking a displayed parent ability stops that ability from being random. That is direct evidence for the ability lock, not for every stat or egg property. The recording did not show a controlled before-and-after proof that locking an ability locks ATK, egg timer, egg type, or egg probability. Read the live preview and restrict the meaning of each lock to the property it names.

A safe Thunder Egg decision sequence

This sequence avoids destroying a verified producer in pursuit of an assumed recipe. The example fusion cost shown in the recording was $59, but that number belonged to one session and must not be used as a universal price. Costs, probabilities, timers, and available locks may change with the account or a later update.

  • Keep at least one chicken whose current tooltip explicitly shows Thunder Egg 100%.
  • Record both parents' egg timers, drop lines, ATK, and specials before starting fusion.
  • Select the two parents and inspect the current cost and every previewed inheritance field.
  • Lock only an ability the interface explicitly identifies; do not treat the lock as an egg guarantee.
  • Cancel the fusion when the preview does not confirm preservation of the result you need.

The inheritance rule is still unknown

The official description confirms only that fusing two chickens creates a mutated monster. It does not publish the child's egg-type, timer, ATK, or probability formula. The video confirms selection, appearance controls, named ability choices, and the effect of locking a displayed ability, but it does not prove a guaranteed Thunder Egg fusion recipe. Until the live preview or a controlled current-version test shows the resulting egg line, “use a verified 100% layer and protect it” is the accurate answer.
